Jack Sammoutis (born 15 January 1994) (Greek: Ιάκωβος Σαμμούτης) is an English footballer who plays for Walton Casuals.[1]

Club

Youth

Sammoutis started his career with Football League side Millwall, progressing through the youth ranks from the age of 15. However, he was released from the club in March 2013, with the club failing to offer him a professional deal. [2]

Semi-Professional

The academy product then joined Margate ahead of the 2013-14 season.[3] His spell with the club was short lived, with a move to Metropolitan Police coming in September. [4]

Professional

Departing from the Isthmian League side at the end of the season, Sammoutis headed to Cypriot First Division club AC Omonia - where he made three appearances in UEFA Europa League qualification.[5]

Semi-Professional

Upon his return to England, the midfielder joined Isthmian Division One South outfit Walton Casuals for the 2015-16 season.[1] He was then rewarded with a trial at League Two club Barnet in March 2016.[6] Finishing the season with the Stags, Sammoutis returned to Barnet for a second trial in the close season.[7]

He also featured for National League outfit Bromley in pre-season, before committing to Walton Casuals for the 2016-17 season.[8]

International

During his time with Millwall, Sammoutis represented the Cyprus Under-19 national team. Making his debut in November 2012 for a UEFA Under-19 European Championships qualifier, he went on to total five appearances.[9]

Personal

In February 2016, Sammoutis was part of filming for the Nike advert ahead of the 2016 European Championships.[10] The advert, led by Cristiano Ronaldo, was released in June 2016.[11]
