Jaipuria Institute of Management

Jaipuria Institute of Management, Lucknow, was established in 1995 followed by Jaipuria Institute of Management Noida in 2004, Jaipur in 2006 and Indore in 2010. All the campuses offer AICTE approved PGDM Programs with a total intake of 750 at all their campuses.

History

Seth Anandram Jaipuria started the Seth Anandram Jaipuria College in Kolkata in 1945. It was inaugurated by Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru. They followed it up by opening Seth M.R.Jaipuria School, Lucknow in 1992. Seth M.R. Jaipuria was awarded the Padma Bhushan by Government of India in 1971 for his contribution to the society. Currently its chairman is Mr. Sharad Jaipuria.

Jaipuria Institute of Management is one of the premier group of B-Schools in the country. The first institute was set up in Lucknow in 1995 and within fifteen years, three other campuses have been set up in Jaipur, Noida and Indore. Jaipuria is an AICTE approved group of institutes and offers two-year full-time Postgraduate Diploma in Management (PGDM).

With over 95 full-time faculty members across the four campuses and around 55 visiting faculty members from top B-schools, Jaipuria today, is an alma matter to over 3,500 alumni, who are currently working in different sectors across various industries. The group of institutes has international collaborations with Universities of Applied Sciences, Finland (as a part of Finland Network for East and Southeast Asia) University of Illinois, United States (Technology Management Programme) and Vaud School of Business and Engineering, Switzerland, amongst others.

Jaipuria Institute of Management has a faculty strength of over 95 faculty members and over 55 visiting faculty members. They have student exchange programs with universities in United States, Finland, Switzerland, Thailand and Taiwan.

It has been ranked 16th by industry and 28th in placements amongst India's private b-schools by Business World best b-school survey in 2011. Recently career360.com ranked Jaipuria Institute of Management as 5th best private b-school in north India and 34th best b-school in India by NHRDN and People Matters.

It was established in 2004 and is situated in sector-62, Noida, Delhi NCR. Dr. Rajiv R Thakur is currently the Director at Jaipuria Noida. It has been rated A++ by Business India. Careers360 ranked Jaipuria Institute of Management Noida as 6th best private b-school in north India and 31st best b-school in India by NHRDN and Peoples Matter.

Jaipuria, Jaipur

Jaipur was established in 2006. The institute is led by Dr.Prabhat Pankaj.

This institute offers two year full-time PGDM course with a dual specialization in two streams out of marketing, finance, human resource, operations and strategy.

This institute has been ranked A+ by Business India, Best B School Survey and is ranked 5th in the Top 10 B-Schools of Rajasthan by CSR GHRDC Survey.

Jaipuria, Indore

Established in 2010. The integration of digital business management (DBM) to the traditional PGDM programme, makes Jaipuria, Indore, the only institute in South East Asia to offer such a programme. The institute is AICTE approved and offers a unique enterprise mentorship programme, CHISEL for hands on experience of the industry. Jaipuria, Indore also offers summer and winter immersion learning swil for experimental learning.

Rankings and Accreditation

The goup of institutes after an inspection by the NAAC team got accreditation for its Lucknow and Noida campuses as an ‘A’ grade institution. This is the highest ranking given by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).

Significantly, the NAAC is an autonomous entity under the University Grants Commission (UGC) and usually ranks the college on parameters like infrastructure, qualitative aspects of research and education, teacher-taught ratio (TTR), students’ amenities and placements. Currently, the NAAC follows a grading model which is: Grade A (very good), B (good), C (threshold) and D (not accredited). Being awarded the highest ranking means that Jaipuria Institute of Management has fulfilled its goal of delivering and promoting the all-round development of its students.

Jaipuria, Lucknow is not only NAAC accredited but also ranks 27 th, by recruiters, amongst best private B School in India Business World, 2012.
