James Frawley

James Frawley (born September 29, 1936, in Houston, Texas) is an American director and actor.

He has been a member of the Actors Studio since at least 1961.[1][2]

Among his television appearances, he played the role of Hawaii District Attorney Alvarez in the 1965 Perry Mason episode, "The Case of the Feather Cloak."

His directing credits include The Muppet Movie and episodes of The Monkees, Smallville, Ghost Whisperer, Judging Amy, as well as many other programs. He has also directed occasional feature films and telemovies.

He is not related to William Frawley, the actor noted for playing Fred Mertz on I Love Lucy.[3]
