James N. Azim, Jr.

James N. Azim, Jr. was a former member of the Wisconsin State Assembly.

Biography

Azim was born on January 17, 1936 in Richland Center, Wisconsin.[1] He attended high school in Muscoda, Wisconsin. Azim graduated from the College of St. Thomas, the University of Wisconsin-Platteville and the University of Wisconsin Law School and became a lawyer.

Political career

Azim was elected to the Assembly in a special election in 1964 and remained a member until 1976. Previously, he was a Trustee of Muscoda from 1962 to 1964. He was a Republican.[2] Azim died on June 14, 1976 in Rochester, Minnesota.[3]
