Jan Baptist Wolfaerts (1625–1658) was a Flemish landscape painter.

Wolfaerts was born in Antwerp as the son of Artus Wolfaerts who was his first teacher. He traveled to Rome via Paris and spent several years in Haarlem where he joined the guild in 1647. He is known for Italianate landscapes with figures.

In the 1660s Wolfaerts returned to Antwerp, where he later died.
