Jason "Jase" Oliver Dalyrimple professionally known as Jase (Jase4Real) now (born May 10, 1980) is the lead singer of R&B group Soul For Real originally from Long Island, New York, currently living in Atlanta. The group was best known in the mid-nineties for their gold-certified singles Candy Rain (song) and "Every Little Thing I Do" off their platinum selling debut album Candy Rain.

Career

Formed in 1992, Soul for Real signed with Uptown Records and released their debut album Candy Rain on March 28, 1995.[1][2] Produced by Heavy D, Candy Rain's first single was the album's title track. The song hit #1 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and peaked at #2 on the Hot 100 chart. Their second single, "Every Little Thing I Do", reached #11 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and #17 on the Hot 100 chart.[3]

In 2005, Jase and his brothers relocated to Atlanta, Georgia where Jase has been focused on making music and movements as an individual/solo artist. In 2007, Jase opened up his very own independent entertainment & production company: JASEMAKERMUSIC LLC. In 2008, he announced that he was recording his first solo project. Finally, that same year, Jase released his first solo song ever on his Myspace page called "Kiss Me".The year of 2009, Jase released a promo song titled "Get More" and announced a solo debut album scheduled for release sometime in 2010. During the Summer of 2010, he released his first single "It's Calling Me". And his debut solo album titled "EMERGED" in September of that year.

In 2012, Jase dropped two singles "The One" and "Krazy" + a music video for both songs. On December 19th, he released a surprise album titled "THE PREFACE" under the name Jason "Jase" Oliver. In June of 2013, he released a new single "Catch 22" with a music video on his YouTube channel.In April 2014, Jase came out with a brand new track entitled "Ws' Up (Roll Up)" and he announced a new album entitled to be "THE CHASE". In June, he released a little promo music video for his song "Mary" on his YouTube channel. In 2015, he put out a new single "Get Scrilla" and two promo songs : "IJTW" & "Gravitation" and a new music video for "She's Bangn' " on his YouTube channel.

In early 2016, Jase announced that he will release an EP titled "TO A KING" in early 2017. On August 1st of 2016, JASE4REAL released his first single of the year titled "If You Feelin' Like Me (IYFLM)" on his SoundCloud page.On the 23rd of the same month Jase released the official music video for "IYFLM" on his YouTube channel. On December 25th, "IYFLM" has been serviced to US FM radio nation-wide.
