Jean-Christophe Lourde (born March 8, 1988 in Paris, France) is a French footballer of Mauritian descent who currently plays for French CFA side AFC Compiègne.

Career

Early career

Lourde played youth football at Paris FC and the famed French youth football academy INF Clairefontaine.

Professional career

Lourde began his professional career in France at RC Strasbourg in 2006. After making 25 appearances for the reserves, he moved on to CFA side Jura Sud Lavans in 2008. Over 3 seasons, he amassed 56 senior appearances for the club. In June 2011, he transferred to fellow CFA side AFC Compiègne, who plays in Groupe A.[1]

International career

Lourde has represented France in various youth teams, but has never made an appearance for the senior team. He was approached by Mauritius in 2006 to play internationally for them, but declined at the time.[2]
