Jens Christian Berg

Jens Christian Berg (23 September 1775 – 4 June 1852) was a Norwegian lawyer and historian.[1]

Family

Jens Christian Berg was born in Copenhagen to Niels Jensen Berg (1738-1798) and Marie Margrethe Flor (1744-1817). He married Hedvig Marie Wessel (1773-1816), and had a son, Fredrik August Berg (1809-1895). He died in Christiania on 4 June 1852.[2]

Education

Berg attended Oslo Cathedral School.[3]
