Jere Brophy

Jere Edward Brophy (June 11, 1940 October 16, 2009)[1][2] was an American educational psychologist.[3] He received the E. L. Thorndike Award in 2007.

He was born in Chicago, Illinois and graduated with a bachelors from Loyola University Chicago in 1962 and he received a PhD from University of Chicago in 1967.[4]

Brophy died in Okemos, Michigan in October 2009 at the age of 69.
