Jin Yuzhang (born May 1942)[1] He is the eldest son of Jin Youzhi, a younger half-brother of Puyi, the Last Emperor of China.[2][3] The last published succession rule for the Qing dynasty, adopted in 1937, provides for succession by male descendants, brothers, and then half-brothers.[4] After the death of Pujie, Puyi's only full-brother, in 1994, Jin Youzhi became next in line to be the head of the Aisin-Gioro clan. Jin Yuzhang succeeded his father when the latter died in 2015.
