Jo-Anna Downey

Jo-Anna Downey (Febuary 1, 1966—December 2016)[1] was a multiple Canadian Comedy Award-nominated stand-up comedian.[2][3] She was the host of two popular weekly Toronto, Ontario comedy shows, Open Mike at Spirits and Standing on the Danforth.[4]

Downey suffered from amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, and died on December 1, 2016.
