John Fleming (1890–21 March 1916) was a Scottish professional football right half and forward who played in the Scottish Football League for St Bernard's.[3] He also appeared in the Football League for Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United.[1]
Personal life
Fleming served as a lance corporal in the Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders during the First World War and died of wounds suffered at the front at Catterick Garrison on 21 March 1916.[4] He was buried in Inveresk Parish Churchyard.[2]
