Jonathan "Jon" T. Baliles (born November 1969) is an American politician and urban planner who currently represents the City of Richmond, Virginia's first district as a councilperson. He is the son of former Virginia governor, Gerald L. Baliles. Prior to representing the 1st district, Baliles served as a city planner for the City of Richmond.
In 2012, Baliles won his first elected seat, and in 2016, he ran for mayor of Richmond. He eventually withdrew and endorsed Levar Stoney.
