Career

Dizmas

In 2004, shortly after graduating high-school, Jon moved to Lancaster, California to join the Forefront Records band, Dizmas.[2] After hundreds of shows and three records, members of Dizmas moved on.[3]

Stellar Kart

Jon moved to Nashville, Tennessee in early 2009. There, he joined Stellar Kart, where he played until the summer of 2010.[4] and began pursuing songwriting.

General Ghost

He recently formed the band General Ghost, together with Kyle Rictor.[5] They released their first EP entitled "Give Me To The Waves" on January 17, 2012. It is available to download online from iTunes, Amazon and the band's website. This was followed from an EP, If Then, released on the same year, and a studio album titled Drifter Painter Drinker Sinner, released on 2014.

Touring

Jon has since written songs for several prominent artists. Works include songs for Kutless (I'm Still Yours[6] and Remember Me, both co-written with Nick De Partee and found on the 2009 album It Is Well),[7][8] as well as songs for Disciple and Addison Road.

In the summer of 2010, Jon began touring with the band Paramore as an additional rhythm guitar player, keyboardist and percussionist.[9]

Personal life

Jon is married to Natalie Taylor.[10]
