José Pinzón (born August 22, 1989 in Mérida, Yucatán, Mexico) is a Mexican professional boxer in the Light Middleweight division and was the WBC Youth World Light Middleweight Champion.[1] José is trained by former WBC Champion Guty Espadas, Sr.

Professional career

On October 2, 2010 Pinzón got revenge and a knockout over the only boxer to beat him Jaime Barboza, to win the WBC Youth World Light Middleweight Championship.[2][3]

In his next José lost to Poland's Pawel Wolak on the undercard of the Donaire-Sidorenko fight, José took the fight on one week notice.[4][5]
