Kalat Nakalat is a Marathi movie released on 11 December 1989.[1] Produced by Smita Talwalkar and directed by Kanchan Nayak. The movie is based on a happy and loving family, and how everything changes because of one mistake.

Synopsis

Manohar and Uma are a happy couple with two lovely kids; Chakuli and Bacchu. Manohar has an affair with a widow, Manisha Salkar. When Uma finds out, she leaves him and takes the children along to her parent’s place. Her mother and brother try to convince her, but in vain. She gets a job and her brother advises her to stay separately.

Manohar comes over to meet her and tries to persuade her to return but she does not budge. The children meet their father secretly with the help of their uncle. When she finds out about it, she reprimands them as well. Uma is eventually attracted to Mr. Rege but she controls herself. The court grants the custody of the children to Uma but while Manohar is talking to the children, Uma realizes his mental condition and they both decide to stay together happily!
