Kalavu (Kannada: ಕಳವು) is a 2013 Kannada movie based on Dr KY Narayanaswamy's novel of the same title. The movie is the directorial debut of Ravi who has worked with the production of the Hollywood film Inferno. Two French films, Blue Mountains and Child in Pondicherry launched his career in art direction.[1] The film stars Umashree, Kari Subbu, Hulagappa Kattimani and others.

Soundtrack
Internationally-acclaimed drum player Shivamani and Kannada film music director and lyricist Hamsalekha released the audio album of 'Kalavu'.[2] Runa Rizvi, Muni Reddy, MD Pallavi and Sriram lent their voices to four songs, including ‘Harikathe’ by MD Pallavi.[3]
