Katherine Reeves

Katherine Reeves is an astronomer who works at the Harvard–Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics (CfA).[1]

Career and research

At CfA, Reeves studies the energetics of solar flares and coronal mass ejections.[1] She also collaborated on Hinode's X-ray Telescope project with scientists from several other countries.[2]

Awards and honors

In 2016, Reeves received the Solar Physics Division of the American Astronomical Society's Karen Harvey Prize, which recognizes significant contributions to the study of the sun early in one's career.[2]
