Kikan Namara (born September 9, 1976), is an Indonesian singer and actress. As solo artist, Namara has released her debut single, titled "Long Live Rock N Roll". Namara has founded the rock music group Cokelat.

Career

Since her childhood, Namara has aspire to became for pianist professional. Namara was inspired by her friends when working the single. In 1996, Namara began her debut career as vocalist with the band Cokelat which formed by herself on June 25, 1996. During with her band, Namara had release seven studio album.

In 2010, Namara decided to departure from the band during 14 years; due to the band schedule is more dense so she not be able to practice it. In addition, Namara has played her acted in two soap opera drama musical television, Gita Cinta the Musical and Ali Topan the Musical, both of aired on RCTI.

Namara appointed as newest vocalist in the rock group Kikan X Kotak for replacing Tantri Kotak in 2016.[1][2]

Personal life

Namara has married to Dewa 19' bass member Yuke Sampurna on February 2, 2002, and have birth two child. After five years later, Namara decided to divorced for her husband in late 2007.

Namara return to married for her twice, namely Udzir Harris, an Malaysian manager.[3]
