Kory Nagy (born 12 October 1989) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player. He was drafted by the New Jersey Devils in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft, during the 5th round (142nd overall).[1] He is currently working in the National Hockey League (NHL) as a linesman.
Playing career
Nagy was drafted by the Oshawa Generals in the 5th round of the Ontario Hockey League Priority Selection (85th overall).[2] He played with the Generals for four seasons, between 2005 and 2009. In his last season with the Generals, the 2008–09 OHL season, Nagy achieved career highs in goals, assists, and points.[3]
In September 2009, Nagy signed a professional contract with the New Jersey Devils, and was sent to the Albany Devils, their American Hockey League affiliate.[4]
He played for the Trenton Titans for the duration of the 2012–13 ECHL season.[5]
Before the 2013–14 ECHL season, Nagy signed with the Orlando Solar Bears.[6] During that season, he was recalled to the Toronto Marlies of the AHL,[7] and on 5 February 2014, he signed a professional tryout contract.[8]

Post-playing career
After retiring from playing, he turned to officiating. Nagy was hired by the National Hockey League (NHL) before the start of the 2016–17 season,[9][10] and was assigned sweater #97(the number was last worn in the 2014–15 season by retired linesman Jean Morin).[11]
