LadyAID

LadyAID was first announced in December 2012 by the music group Lady Antebellum.[1] LadyAID was made to help children in need all around the world since they are unable to help themselves. The main focus in the United States and Canada is the improvement to children hospitals and the addition of more, and while the main focus for everywhere is the improvement of child lives, such as basic needs and education.[2]

Purpose

“LadyAID is going to encompass a lot of different organizations with one main goal, which is to help kids,” Charles says. So far LadyAID is working with different five organizations in order to help children around the world(Nashville’s Monroe Carrell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt; St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, TN; Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals; the UN Refugee Agency, UNHCR and myLIFEspeaks).[3]

Goal

The main goal is to help children but that doesn't mean that Lady Antebellum will stop playing."The opportunity to play music on stages all around the world has given us so much happiness," said Dave Haywood. "By establishing LadyAID, we're going to be able to put a new focus on accomplishing an off-stage goal we have as a band, which is to help children in need."[4]
