Lake House Academy is a private therapeutic boarding school for girls located in Flat Rock, Henderson County, North Carolina. The school enrolls girls ages 10 through 16 in grades 5 to 10. Programs are tailored to the developmental, social, emotional and academic needs of pre-adolescent and young adolescent girls with a focus on helping girls gain the skills they need to be successful in the home, at school and with friends. Lake House Academy was founded in 2010 under the direction of Catherine "Cat" Jennings, who was previously executive director of New Leaf Academy in Hendersonville, North Carolina, and earlier worked at Stone Mountain School.[1] It was affiliated with the Greenwich Education Group, which also owns and operates Beacon school and Spire School in Connecticut.[2]

In August 2011 the school entered into a management agreement with InnerChange.[3] Kimball DeLaMare, LCSW is the acting Interim Executive Director.[4]
