Lancaster Event Center

The Lancaster Event Center is a public tax-funded non-profit multi-purpose event complex located in Lincoln, Nebraska.

In 2001, the center opened with an arena, two pavilions, and offices, with an initial pricetag of $12 million. A $10 million expansion in 2009 brought way to a third pavilion, and a 125,000-square-foot second arena.[1] This second arena is now known as the 12,000-seat Amy Countryman Arena in Pavilion 4. [2]

In 2014, it held over 270 events with approximately 558,765 people attending.[3]

Events include antiques and crafts shows, Lincoln City Libraries book sales, beer festivals, animal shows and agricultural events, rodeos, car shows, themed runs, gun shows, the Lancaster County Fair, and private events.[4]
