Lauren McMurchie (born 6 January 1992) is a Scottish football midfielder who plays for Glasgow City in the Scottish Women's Premier League (SWPL) and represented the club in the 2014–15 UEFA Women's Champions League.

Early life

McMurchie played at St. Johnstone Girls (now known as Jeanfield Swifts) as a youth.[1]

Club career

McMurchie signed with Glasgow City in August 2008.[1] In 2011, she scored a hat-trick in a 7–0 win over Hutchison Vale.[2] In 2013, she went on loan to Hamilton Academical [3][4] after recovering from her third anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction.[5][6]

In August 2014, McMurchie played for Glasgow during the 2014–15 UEFA Women's Champions League helping the team qualify for the Round of 32.[7]

International career

McMurchie has represented Scotland at the under-17 and under-19 levels.[8]
