This article is part of a series on the
politics and government of
the Philippines

The Lone district of Davao del Sur is the representation of the Province of Davao del Sur in the Philippine House of Representatives. Davao del Sur was part of the representation of Davao Province until 1965, when it was created and granted its own representation, which until 1984, included Davao City. It then became part of the representation of Region XI from 1978 to 1984. In 1986, it was divided into two congressional districts and in 2016, it was reverted to a lone district.
