Lewis Emmett Carpenter (August 16, 1913 – April 25, 1979) was a professional baseball player. He was a right-handed pitcher for one season (1943) with the Washington Senators. For his career, he recorded no decisions and allowed no earned runs in 3⅓ innings pitched.
An alumnus of the Georgia Institute of Technology, Capenter was born in Woodstock, Georgia and died in Marietta, Georgia at the age of 65. Is buried in Dawson Cemetery , Cobb County, GA.
