Lifehouse International Church Hong Kong is an English, Cantonese and Mandarin speaking church located in Mong Kok, Hong Kong.

It is a Hillsong Network church[1] and belongs to the Lifehouse International Church Global movement, under the leadership of Rod and Viv Plummer in Japan.[2] Lifehouse International Church is Pentecostal church associated with the Australian Christian Churches (Assemblies of God in Australia)[3] and a partner with the ARC Church Planting Network.[4]

History

In 2009 Lifehouse International Church Tokyo adopted a small church in Hong Kong, which then became Lifehouse International Church Hong Kong.[5] In June 2011, Richard Welsh[6] moved from Tokyo to Hong Kong to pastor the church under the leadership of Rod and Viv Plummer.[7] Richard Welsh is a credentialed minister with the ACC.[8]

In June 2013, Lifehouse International Church Hong Kong opened its permanent venue in Mong Kok occupying the whole of the 11th floor of the Win Century Building on Mong Kok Road. The newly renovated church facility has a modern auditorium with super wide screen and seats up to 200 people. Children's programs are also run throughout Sunday morning services.

Church Services

Lifehouse International Church Hong Kong has bilingual services[9] in English and Cantonese. There are 3 weekly church services including Sunday services with English/Cantonese at 11AM and 3PM, and a service at 7:30PM every Wednesday Night. All services are run in two languages simultaneously (using interpreters). The church is located[10] very close to Exit A2 of Mong Kok MTR station, on the Kowloon-side of Hong Kong.

Lifehouse Kids

Lifehouse Kids[11] is a children's program that is run during the Sunday morning 11am service.

Kingdom Builders

Kingdom Builders [12] is the Lifehouse 'ministry of giving'. It is a monthly event aimed at those who want to give above their tithe, and channel financial resources into two main areas; within the church (projects, building fund), and outside the church (missions, church planting). Topics discussed often relate to living out Christianity practically in the market place.
