Character Descriptions
Mildred Roper
George's sex mad wife Mildred is always trying to look better than she actually does. Mildred has to put up with a lot - she once found out that George had bought an old caravan and put it on the front garden, much to Jeffrey Fourmile's displeasure. Mildred has only one friend, Ann her next door neighbour. She doesn't get on with Ann's husband Jeffrey, very understandably as once when they were having a new shower fitted, the water sprayed all over the Fourmile's house!
George Roper
The lazy husband of Mildred, George is either watching television, at the pub or somehow annoying Jeffrey Fourmile, who he detests. He is best mates with Jerry who usually does a very cheap job when he is roped in to do various work on the house. George has a pet budgie called Oscar and a goldfish called Moby who Mildred accidentally lost as George was giving Moby a bath in the kitchen sink when Mildred let the plug out. George then ran into the garden to catch him coming out of the pipes coming from the sink - but had no luck. He is that lazy that he grows nettles in his garden, much to the annoyance of Jeffrey.
