List of Roman Catholic dioceses in Romania
Unlike elsewhere, the Roman Catholic Church in Romania is divided between the Latin and the Byzantine (Greek Catholic) rites. The Ecclesiastical province of Făgăraş and Alba Iulia is headed by the Archbishop for the Romanian rite. The ecclesiastical province of Bucharest is headed by the Archbishop for the Latin Rite.
