List of The Voice of Greece finalists (season 1)

The first season of the talent show The Voice of Greece began broadcasting on January 10, 2014.[1] The coaches were Michalis Kouinelis, Despina Vandi, Antonis Remos and Melina Aslanidou.[2] Each coach chose their finalists for the live shows through the blind auditions and the battles. During the blind auditions, the coaches selected their 16 artists while in the battles half of the artists were eliminating leaving a number of 8 acts for each coach.[3] The show was won by Maria Elena Kiriakou, mentored by Despina Vandi, who took the record deal with Universal Music Greece, with Areti Kosmidou and Lefteris Kintatos becoming the joint runners-up (mentored by Michalis Kouinelis and Antonis Remos respectively). Emily Charalambous, mentored by Melina Aslanidou, took the fourth place.

Team Stavento

Areti Kosmidou

Main article: Arete kosmidou

Kosmidou, originating from Alexandroupoli, auditioned for The Voice of Greece at the age of sixteen.[4] Appearing on the eighth of the eight blind auditions, she auditioned with "Let Her Go", originally by Passenger—with two coaches: Michalis Kouinelis and Despina Vandi electing for her to join their teams; from which Kosmidou selected Michalis Kouinelis.[5] During the battles, Kosmidou sung "I Was Made for Lovin' You" against Christina Miliou–with Michalis crowning her as the winner.[6] In the second live show, she performed "Big in Japan" and was saved by the public.[7] In the third live show, she performed "Little Talks" and was saved by the public along with Uri Melikov.[8] In the fourth live show, she performed "Royals" and was for the first time in the bottom two along with Panayiotis Vintzilaios–with Michalis selecting her to proceed to the semi-final.[9] In the semi-final, she performed "This Is the Life" for her solo performance and "Poison" for her duet with the band Melisses.[10] Kosmidou proceeded to the final after getting 53 points from her coach and 57 points from the public.[10] Her song "So Cruel" was available on iTunes the day after the semi-final, on May 3, 2014.[11] In the final she performed her original song "So Cruel" and a duet with her coach with the song "Prin Se Gnoriso".[12] As she advanced to the second round along with Kiriakou and Kintatos, she performed "Let Her Go", the song she performed during the blind auditions.[12] Kosmidou finished as joint runner-up with Kintatos.

During her appearance in the show, Kosmidou received a proposition from Sakis Rouvas to appear with him in his upcoming concert in Athens.[13] However, she had to turn down the proposition as according to the rules of the show the contestants could not appear in any other concerts.[14]

Aris Kambanos

Kambanos, originating from Kefalonia and Crete, auditioned for twenty-three for The Voice of Greece.[15] Appearing on the second of the eight blind auditions, he auditioned with "Poios na Sigkrithei Mazi Sou" originally by Yiannis Parios—with Michalis Kouinelis being the only one electing him to join his team.[16] During the battles, he performed "Poia Nixta S'eklepse" against Iordanis Karakasidis–with Michalis crowning him as the winner.[17] In the first live show, he performed "Spoudaioi Anthropoi Alla" and ended up in the bottom three but was not saved by his coach along with Violeta Christina Dagkalou.[18]

Dimitra Dimitrakopoulou

Dimitrakopoulou, originating from Athens, auditioned for The Voice of Greece at the age of twenty-eight.[19] Prior to the competition, she auditioned for the second season of Greek Idol but was rejected.[20] She auditioned with "Love the Way You Lie" originally by Eminem and Rihanna—with Michalis Kouinelis being the only one electing her to join his team.[21] During the battles, she performed "An S'arnitho Agapi Mou" against Antigoni Tsiplakidi–with Michalis crowning her as the winner.[22] In the second live show, she performed "Den Zitao Polla". She ended up in the bottom three but was not saved by his coach along with Steven Anderito.[7]

Panayiotis Vintzilaios

Vintzilaios, originating from Naxos, auditioned for The Voice of Greece at the age of twenty-six.[23] Appearing on the first of the eight blind auditions, he auditioned with "Billie Jean", originally by Michael Jackson—with all four coaches electing for him to join their teams; from which Vintzilaios selected Michalis Kouinelis.[16] During the battles, he performed "Summer of '69" against Elias Vlachakis–with Michalis crowning him as the winner.[6] In the first live show, he performed "Damn Your Eyes" and ended up in the bottom three with Michalis selecting him to proceed to the third live show.[18] In the third live show, he performed "Dirty Diana" and once again ended up in the bottom two with Michalis selecting him to proceed to the next live show.[8] In the fourth live show, he performed "Careless Whisper" and ended up, for third time, in the bottom two but this time was not saved by his coach.[9]

Steven Anderito

Anderito, originating form Nigeria, auditioned for The Voice of Greece at the age of eighteen.[24] Appearing on the third of the eight blind auditions, he auditioned with "Price Tag", originally by Jessie J and B.o.B—with all four coaches electing for him to join their teams; from which Vintzilaios selected Michalis Kouinelis.[25] During the battles, he performed "Locked Out of Heaven" against Panayiotis Koufogiannis–with Michalis crowning him as the winner.[26] In the second live show, he performed "Save Tonight" and ended up in the bottom three but was not saved by his coach along with Dimitra Dimitrakopoulou.[7]

Tasos Panagiotopoulos

Panagiotopoulos, originating from Kavala, auditioned for The Voice of Greece at the age of twenty-three.[27] Appearing on the seventh of the eight blind auditions, he auditioned with "Trouble", originally by Coldplay—with all four coaches electing for him to join their teams; from which Vintzilaios selected Michalis Kouinelis.[28] During the battles, he performed "Just Give Me a Reason" against Constantina Christopoulou–with Michalis crowning him as the winner.[26] In the second live show, he performed "Starlight" and ended up in the bottom three with Michalis selecting him to proceed to the third live show.[7] In the third live show, he performed "San Skia" and ended up in the bottom two along with Panayiotis Vintzilaios but was not saved by his coach.[8]

Yuri Melikov

Melikov, originating from Cyprus, auditioned for The Voice of Greece at the age of sixteen.[29] Appearing on the third of the eight blind auditions, he auditioned with "Delilah" originally by Tom Jones—with Michalis Kouinelis being the only one electing him to join his team.[30] During the battles, he performed "It's Now or Never" against Panos Patagiannis–with Michalis crowning him as the winner.[26] In the first live show, he performed "Let the Music Play" and was saved by the public.[18] In the third live show, he performed "She's a Lady" and was once again saved by the public along with Areti Kosmidou.[8] In the fourth live show, he performed "Kiss" and was, for third time, saved by the public.[9] In the semi-final, he performed "Valerie" for his solo performance and "Kenouria Agapi" for his duet with Elena Paparizou.[10] Melikov failed to proceed to the final after getting 47 points from his coach and 43 points from the public.[10]

Violeta Christina Dagkalou

Dagkalou, originating from Volos, auditioned for The Voice of Greece at the age of nineteen.[31] Appearing on the fourth of the eight blind auditions, she auditioned with "Makria Mou Na Figeis" originally by Eleni Vitali—with Michalis Kouinelis being the only one electing her to join his team.[25] During the battles, she performed "Di'Efhon" against Constantina Zerva–with Michalis crowning her as the winner.[22] In the first live, she performed "Iliagiali" and ended up in the bottom three but was not saved by her coach along with Aris Kambanos.[18]

Team Vandi

Dimitris Fournarakis

Fournarakis, originating from Athens, auditioned for The Voice of Greece at the age of twenty-one.[32] Appearing on the second of the eight blind auditions, he auditioned with "Ola S'agapane" originally by Stamatis Gonidis—with Despina Vandi being the only one electing him to join her team.[16] During the battles, he performed "Etsi Ksafnika" against Panagiotis Alafouzos–with Despina crowning him as the winner.[26] In the first live show, he performed "Ma Pou Na Pao" and ended up in the bottom three with Despina selecting him to proceed to the third live show.[18] In the third live show, he performed "Mia Fora" and ended up in the bottom two along with Katerina Lioliou but was not saved by his coach.[8]

Eleni Geragidi

Geragidi, originating from Athens, auditioned for The Voice of Greece at the age of twenty-one.[33] Appearing on the fourth of the eight blind auditions, she auditioned with "Addicted" originally by Serge Devant—with Despina Vandi being the only one electing her to join her team.[25] During the battles, she performed "O Aggelos Mou" against Maria Egglezou–with Despina crowning her as the winner.[17] In the first live show, she performed "We Found Love" and ended up in the bottom three but was not saved by her coach along with Vasilis Axiotis.[18]

Elpida Papakosma

Papakosma, originating from Thessaloniki, auditioned for The Voice of Greece at the age of twenty.[34] Appearing on the fifth of the eight blind auditions, she auditioned with "What's Up?" originally by 4 Non Blondes—with Despina Vandi being the only one electing her to join her team.[35] During the battles, she performed "Read All About It" against Maro Liapi–with Despina crowning her as the winner.[17] In the second live show, she performed "Empire State of Mind" and ended up in the bottom three but was not saved by her coach along with Nikos Mpaliakos.[7]

Katerina Lioliou

Lioliou, originating from Thessaloniki, auditioned for The Voice of Greece at the age of nineteen.[36] Appearing on the first of the eight blind auditions, she auditioned with "Dream On" originally by Aerosmith—with all four coaches electing for her to join their teams; from which Lioliou selected Despina Vandi.[21] During the battles, she performed "Wrecking Ball" against Elena Stratigopoulou–with Despina crowning her as the winner.[22] In the first live show, she performed "Sweet Child o' Mine" and was saved by the public.[18] In the third live show, she performed "U + Ur Hand" and ended up in the bottom two with Despina selecting her to proceed to the next live show.[8] In the fourth live show, she performed "It's My Life" and ended up in the bottom two with Despina selecting her to proceed to the semi-final.[9] In the semi-final, she performed "My Immortal" for her solo performance and "Den Thelo" for her duet with Giorgia.[10] Lioliou failed to proceed to the final after getting 40 points from her coach and 20 points from the public.[10]

Maria Elena Kiriakou

Kiriakou, originating from Cyprus, auditioned for The Voice of Greece at the age of twenty-nine.[37] Appearing on the third of the eight blind auditions, she auditioned with "Because of You" originally by Kelly Clarkson—with all four coaches electing for her to join their teams; from which Kiriakou selected Despina Vandi.[30] During the battles, she performed "Hero" against Eva Kanata–with Despina crowning her as the winner.[6] In the second live show, she performed "I Have Nothing" and was saved by the public.[7] In the third live show, she performed "Den Eisai Edo" and was once again saved by the public along with Stelios Mayalios.[8] In the fourth live show, she performed "Hurt" and was saved by the public to proceed to the semi-final.[9] In the semi-final, she performed "Bleeding Love" for her solo performance and "Listen" for her duet with Mando.[10] Kiriakou proceeded to the final after getting 60 points from her coach and 80 points from the public.[10] Her song "Dio Egoismoi" was available on iTunes the day after the semi-final, on May 3, 2014.[11] In the final she performed her original song "Dio Egoismoi" and a duet with her coach with the song "No More Tears (Enough Is Enough)".[12] As she advanced to the second round along with Kosmidou and Kintatos, she performed "Because of You", the song she performed during the blind auditions.[12] Kiriakou won the series and a record deal with Universal Music Greece.

Nikos Mpaliakos

Mpaliakos, originating from Cyprus, auditioned for The Voice of Greece at the age of twenty-six.[38] Appearing on the sixth of the eight blind auditions, he auditioned with "Impossible" originally by Shontelle—with Despina Vandi being the only one electing him to join her team.[39] During the battles, he performed "Eleges" against Pavlos Dounis–with Despina crowning him as the winner.[22] In the second live show, he performed "Wake Me Up" and ended up in the bottom three but was not saved by his coach along with Elpida Papakosma.[7]

Stelios Mayalios

Mayalios, originating from Oxya, auditioned for The Voice of Greece at the age of thirty.[40] Appearing on the first of the eight blind auditions, he auditioned with "How You Remind Me" originally by Nickelback—with all four coaches electing for him to join their teams; from which Mayalios selected Despina Vandi.[21] During the battles, he performed "Love Me Again" against Stelios Karpathakis–with Despina crowning him as the winner.[22] In the second live show, he performed "Smells Like Teen Spirit" and ended up in the bottom three with Despina selecting him to proceed to the third live show.[7] In the third live show, he performed "Cat People" and was saved by the public.[8] In the fourth live show, he performed "Enter Sandman" and ended up in the bottom two but was not saved by his coach.[9]

Vasilis Axiotis

Axiotis, originating from Arta, auditioned for The Voice of Greece at the age of thirty-four.[41] Appearing on the third of the eight blind auditions, he auditioned with "The Show Must Go On" originally by Queen—with all four coaches electing for him to join their teams; from which Axiotis selected Despina Vandi.[30] During the battles, he performed "The Way You Make Me Feel" against Maria Vlachava–with Despina crowning him as the winner.[6] In the first live show, he performed "You Can Leave Your Hat On" and ended up in the bottom three but was not saved by his coach along with Eleni Geragidi.[18]

Team Remos

Alex Economou

Economou, originating from Cyprus, auditioned for The Voice of Greece at the age of twenty-five.[42] Appearing on the first of the eight blind auditions, he auditioned with "Make You Feel My Love" originally by Bob Dylan—with all four coaches electing for him to join their teams; from which Economou selected Antonis Remos.[21] During the battles, he performed "Broken Strings" against Katerina Sousoula Souarez–with Antonis crowning him as the winner.[26] In the first live, he performed "Krifa" and was saved by the public.[18] In the third live, he performed "Over My Shoulder" and was once again saved by the public.[8] In the fourth live, he performed "Seven Nation Army" and was, for third time, saved by the public to proceed to the semi-final.[9] In the semi-final he performed "Everything She Wants" for his solo performance and "Me Sena Plai Mou" for his duet with Stelios Rokkos.[10] Economou failed to proceed to the final after getting 40 points from his coach and 31 points from the public.[10]

Dimitris Tiktopoulos

Tiktopoulos, originating from Thessaloniki, auditioned for The Voice of Greece at the age of thirty-three.[43] Prior to the competition, he had participated in the second season of Greek Idol and got the 8th place.[44] Appearing on the eighth of the eight blind auditions, he auditioned with "We Are the Champions" originally by Freddie Mercury—with all four coaches electing for him to join their teams; from which Tiktopoulos selected Antonis Remos.[5] During the battles, he performed "Let Me Entertain You" against Dimitris Marmarinos–with Antonis crowning him as the winner.[17] In the first live show, he performed "Paradise City" and ended up in the bottom three but was not saved by his coach along with Evelina Nikoliza.[18]

Dimos Mpeke

Mpeke, originating from Cyprus, auditioned for The Voice of Greece at the age of forty.[45] Prior to the competition, he was part of the Cypriot band One and was a replacement of Constantinos Christoforou after he left the band to follow solo career.[46] Appearing on the second of the eight blind auditions, he auditioned "Rolling in the Deep" originally by Adele—with all four coaches electing for him to join their teams; from which Tiktopoulos selected Antonis Remos.[16] During the battles, he performed "Feeling Good" against Haris Mosaidis–with Antonis crowning him as the winner.[6] In the second live show, he performed "Still Got the Blues (For You)" and was saved by the public.[7] In the third live show, he performed "Ena Tragoudi Akoma" and ended up in the bottom two along with Georgina Karachaliou but was not saved by his coach.[8]

Evelina Nikoliza

Nikoliza, originating from Athens, auditioned for The Voice of Greece at the age of twenty-five.[47] Appearing on the fifth of the eight blind auditions, she auditioned with "Someone like You" originally by Adele—with three coaches: Despina Vandi, Antonis Remos and Melina Aslanidou electing for her to join their teams; from which Nikoliza selected Antonis Remos.[35] During the battles, she performed a mash-up of "An Mou Tilephonouses" and "Dodeka" against Athina Georgopoulou–with Antonis crowning her as the winner.[26] In the first live show, she performed "You've Got the Love" and ended up in the bottom three but was not saved by her coach along with Dimitris Tiktopoulos.[18]

Fani Tselepi

Tselepi, originating from Volos, auditioned for The Voice of Greece at the age of twenty-two.[48] Appearing on the third of the eight blind auditions, she auditioned with "To Lathos" originally by the coach of the show, Melina Aslanidou—with all four coaches electing for her to join their teams; from which Tselepi selected Antonis Remos.[30] During the battles, she performed "Gia Ena Tango" against Vera Boufi–with Antonis crowning her as the winner.[17] In the second live show, she performed "Ela Pou Fovamai" and ended up in the bottom three but was not saved by her coach along with Natasa Veneti.[7]

Georgina Karachaliou

Karachaliou, originating from Athens, auditioned for The Voice of Greece at the age of thirty-three.[49] She was known before the competition for participating in Eurosong 2013 – a MAD show, the Greek national selection for the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest.[50] Appearing on the fourth of the eight blind auditions, she auditioned with "Whole Lotta Love" originally by Led Zeppelin—with all four coaches electing for her to join their teams; from which Karachaliou selected Antonis Remos.[25] During the battles, she performed "My Kind of Love" against Ioanna Tsagkari–with Antonis crowning her as the winner.[22] In the second live show, she performed "Uninvited" and ended up in the bottom three with Antonis selecting her to proceed to the third live show.[7] In the third live show, she performed "It's a Man's Man's Man's World" and ended up in the bottom two with Antonis saving her for second time.[8] In the fourth live show, she performed "Tzivaeri" and ended up, for third time, in the bottom two but this time was not saved by her coach.[9]

Lefteris Kintatos

Kintatos, originating from Athens, auditioned for The Voice of Greece at the age of thirty-two.[51] Appearing on the first of the eight blind auditions, he auditioned with "Feggari Mou Chlomo" originally by Paschalis Terzis—with three coaches: Despina Vandi, Antonis Remos and Melina Aslanidou electing for him to join their teams; from which Kintatos selected Antonis Remos.[21] During the battles, he performed "Otan Exo Esena" against Aggelos Mpoutakidis–with Antonis crowning him as the winner.[22] In the first live show, he performed "Ennea Ogdoa" and ended up in the bottom three with Antonis selecting him to proceed to the third live show.[18] In the third live show, he performed "Thes" and was saved by the public along with Alex Economou.[8] In the fourth live show, he performed "Den Thelo Tetoious Filous" and ended up in the bottom two with Antonis selecting him to proceed to the semi-final.[9] In the semi-final, he performed "Aporo" for his solo performance and "Den Pao Pouthena" for his duet with Vassilis Karras.[10] Kintatos proceeded to the final after getting 60 points from his coach and 69 points from the public.[10] His song "Gia Tin Parti Tis" was available on iTunes the day after the semi-final, on May 3, 2014.[11] In the final he performed his original song "Gia Tin Parti Tis" and a duet with his coach with the song "Gia Na Se Ekdikitho".[12] As he advanced to the second round along with Kosmidou and Kiriakou, he performed "Feggari Mou Chlomo", the song he performed during the blind auditions.[12] Kintatos finished as joint runner-up with Kosmidou.

Natasa Veneti

Veneti, originating from Athens, auditioned for The Voice of Greece at the age of twenty-two.[52] Appearing on the third of the eight blind auditions, she auditioned with "Nobody's Wife" originally by Anouk—with three coaches: Michalis Kouinelis, Antonis Remos and Melina Aslanidou electing for her to join their teams; from which Veneti selected Antonis Remos.[30] During the battles, she performed "En Lefko" against Kelly Protopapa–with Antonis crowning her as the winner.[6] In the second live show, she performed "An Eixes Erthei Pio Noris" and ended up in the bottom three but was not saved by her coach along with Fani Tselepi.[7]

Team Aslanidou

Anna Maria Bilida

Bilida, originating from Tripoli, auditioned for The Voice of Greece at the age of twenty-five.[53] Appearing on the first of the eight blind auditions, she auditioned with "To Metrima" originally by Natassa Mpofiliou—with three coaches: Despina Vandi, Antonis Remos and Melina Aslanidou electing for her to join their teams; from which Bilida selected Melina Aslanidou.[21] During the battles, she performed "Trava Skandali" against Maria Mouratidou–with Melina crowning her as the winner.[26] In the second live show, she performed "Kopse kai Moirase" and was saved by the public.[7] In the third live show, she performed "Fila Me Akoma" and was once again saved by the public along with Emily Charalambous.[8] In the fourth live show, she performed "Moira mou Egines" and ended up in the bottom two but was not saved by her coach.[9]

Aggeliki Zika

Zika, originating from Athens, auditioned for The Voice of Greece at the age of forty-two.[54] Years before the competition, she had a short discography that ended after she was diagnosed with cancer.[55][56] Appearing on the fifth of the eight blind auditions, she auditioned with "Stereotipa" originally by Dimitra Galani—with all four coaches electing for her to join their teams; from which Zika selected Melina Aslanidou.[35] During the battles, she performed "Prin To Telos" against Panos Togkaridis–with Melina crowning her as the winner.[6] In the first live show, she performed "Faidra" and ended up in the bottom three but was not saved by her coach along with Mary Doutsi.[18]

Emily Charalambous

Charalambous, originating from Cyprus, auditioned for The Voice of Greece at the age of sixteen.[57] Appearing on the second of the eight blind auditions, she auditioned with "Anthropoi Monaxoi" originally by Vicky Moscholiou—with all four coaches electing for her to join their teams; from which Charalambous selected Melina Aslanidou.[16] During the battles, she performed "Dio Meres Mono" against Christina Makri–with Melina crowning her as the winner.[22] In the first live show, she performed "Tou Pothou To Agrimi" and was saved by the public.[18] In the third live show, she performed "To Party" and was once again saved by the public along with Anna Maria Bilida.[8] In the fourth live show, she performed "Nihta Stasou" and was for third time saved by the public to proceed to the semi-final.[9] In the semi-final, she performed "Titanium" for her solo appearance and "Antikrista" for her duet with Kostas Makedonas.[10] Charalambous proceeded to the final after getting 55 points from her coach and 71 points from the public.[10] Her song "Ego Eimai Ego" was available on iTunes the day after the semi-final, on May 3, 2014.[11] In the final she performed her original song "Ego Eimai Ego" and a duet with her coach with the songs "Zita Mou Oti Thes" and "Hirokrotima".[12] Charalambous finished in the fourth place and did not advance to the second round.[12]

Eirini Kalamaraki

Kalamaraki, originating from Athens, auditioned for The Voice of Greece at the age of twenty-one.[58] Appearing on the third of the eight blind auditions, she auditioned with "Me Ta Matia Kleista" originally by Giota Negka—with three coaches: Michalis Kouinelis, Despina Vandi and Melina Aslanidou electing for her to join their teams; from which Kalamaraki selected Melina Aslanidou.[30] During the battles, she performed "Ego Ki Esi" against Giorgos Pappas–with Melina crowning her as the winner.[17] In the second live show, she performed "I Epimoni Sou" and ended up in the bottom three but was not saved by her coach along with Irwan Easty.[7]

Ifigenia Atkinson

Atkison, originating from Athens, auditioned for The Voice of Greece at the age of twenty-six.[59] Appearing on the seventh of the eight blind auditions, she auditioned with "Set Fire to the Rain" originally by Adele—with two coaches: Michalis Kouinelis and Melina Aslanidou electing for her to join their teams; from which Atkison selected Melina Aslanidou.[28] During the battles, she performed "Kids" against Giorgos Gkekas–with Melina crowning her as the winner.[22] In the first live show, she performed "Diamonds" and ended up in the bottom three with Melina selecting her to proceed to the third live show.[18] In the third live show, she performed "Domino" and ended up in the bottom two along with Vasilis Chatzipartalis but was not saved by her coach.[8]

Irwan Easty

Easty, originating from Athens, auditioned for The Voice of Greece at the age of twenty-six.[60] Appearing on the second of the eight blind auditions, he auditioned with "Somebody Told Me" originally by The Killers—with two coaches: Despina Vandi and Melina Aslanidou electing for him to join their teams; from which Easty selected Melina Aslanidou.[16] During the battles, he performed "Don't Go Breaking My Heart" against Maria Roselin Makren–with Melina crowning him as the winner.[17] In the second live show, he performed "Friday I'm In Love" and ended up in the bottom three but was not saved by his coach along with Eirini Kalamaraki.[7]

Mary Doutsi

Doutsi, originating from Naousa, auditioned for The Voice of Greece at the age of twenty-eight.[61] Appearing on the sixth of the eight blind auditions, she auditioned with "I Agapi Argi" originally by Eleonora Zouganeli—with two coaches: Antonis Remos and Melina Aslanidou electing for her to join their teams; from which Doutsi selected Melina Aslanidou.[39] During the battles, she performed "I Agapi Ine Zali" against Nicky Pappa–with Melina crowning her as the winner.[6] In the first live show, she performed "My Way" and ended up in the bottom three but was not saved by her coach along with Aggeliki Zika.[18]

Vasilis Chatzipartalis

Chatzipartalis, originating from Athens, auditioned for The Voice of Greece at the age of thirty-five.[62] Appearing on the fifth of the eight blind auditions, he auditioned with "Sinnefa tou Gialou" originally by Giannis Xaroulisa—with three coaches: Michalis Kouinelis, Despina Vandi and Melina Aslanidou electing for him to join their teams; from which Chatzipartalis selected Melina Aslanidou.[35] During the battles, he performed "San Star Tou Cinema" against Mavrikios Mavrikiou–with Melina crowning her as the winner.[26] In the second live show, he performed "Tha Ekrago" and ended up in the bottom three with Melina selecting him to proceed to the third live show.[7] In the third live show, he performed "Den Eimai Allos" and ended up in the bottom two with Melina saving him.[8] In the fourth live show, he performed "Poula Me" and ended up for third time in the bottom two with Melina saving him for third time in a row.[9] In the semi-final, he performed "Esi Eki" for his solo performance and "Stis Ekklisias tin Porta" for his duet with Manos Pirovolakis.[10] Chatzipartalis failed to proceed to the final after getting 45 points from his coach and 29 points from the public.[10]
