List of highest-grossing Indian films in overseas markets

This is a ranking of the highest grossing Indian films which may include films from Bollywood and other film domains of India. These estimates are as reported by reputable sources.

The films Hum Aapke Hain Koun..! and Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge started the overseas box office for Indian films. Afterwards Indian films followed a trend of releasing worldwide with maximum number of screens.[1][2]

My Name is Khan was the first Indian film to collect 100 crore grossing approximately $23 million.[3][4] PK was the first Indian film to collect 200 crore collecting more than $47.2 million.[5][6][7][8]
