Early Cooking Career

Logan started cooking at the age of two. At the age of 9, his recipe for the JIF most creative sandwich contest won him a trip to New York City and an appearance on The Today Show on NBC. "I went on TV a bunch with my recipe and it was really fun. I got so disappointed that I did not win the grand prize, so my Mom suggested that I enter another contest and I won (the Epicurious Healthy Challenge trip)." [1]

MasterChef Junior

On 16 December 2014, Logan won the MasterChef Junior competition.[2]

Logan’s winning meal included an appetizer of saffron spot prawns with olive remoulade and smoked aioli, an entree of salt-crusted branzino which Gordon Ramsay remarked as "boldest, craziest" and a dessert of Meyer lemon madeleines with goat cheese mousse and a berry compote.

Food Adventurer

Logan has won several food competitions including one which took him to the White House to meet President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama. He visited The White House with President Barack Obama in 2012 at the [3] Epicurious Kid’s State Dinner Healthy Lunch Challenge.

In 2013, Logan became the first and only kid judge to complete the training course given by the Memphis World Championship BBQ committee as a certified judge. In 2015, Logan became the youngest certified Judge (age 12) at the World Championship Barbecue Cooking Contest judging entries in exotic, whole hog, and ribs.

Logan was featured in FutureChefs cookbook released in the fall of 2014.

He was invited as Special Guest to The 2014 Association of Food Journalists Conference due to his work as a food blogger since 2010. As a foodie and blogger of "Order up with Logan" - http://orderupwithlogan.blogspot.com/ a food blog, Logan writes about food, cooking, and reviews restaurants.

His business ventures include the creation, manufacture, and the selling his own spice blend under the branding of "Logan’s Rub" (2011). Along with an egg seasonings called "The Good Egg" (2012).

In 2015, Logan became a Finalist in Shorty Awards for recognition in producing real-time short form content in the FOOD category along his social media platforms. Same year, named as a presenter for the Reality Television Awards (Hollywood) along with MasterChef Junior winning best "New Cast". Co-hosted the Annual Freedom Awards Public Forum sponsored by National Civil Rights Museum.

In the summer of 2015, Logan became spokesperson for the "Get Kids Cooking" campaign and initiative, GetKidsCooking.ca (in Canada), sponsored by Uncle Ben's Canada.

In 2016, Logan Guleff was named the “Next Great Southern Cook in America” by Southern Living Magazine, as well as a James Beard Winner (youngest chef ever to cook at the James Beard House in New York City). He was also honored as one of The 30 Most Influential Teens of 2016 by Time Magazine.[4]
