Management Systems International

Management Systems International (MSI), A Tetra Tech Company, is an international development consulting firm based in Washington, D.C. and founded in 1981 by Marina Fanning and Larry Cooley.[1]

In 2016, MSI became a Tetra Tech company. MSI was previously a part of Coffey International Development, a global developing consulting firm with headquarters in Australia since 2008.

Work

MSI's clients include government agencies and NGOs, most notably USAID. The company considers its specializations to include; "Managing Policy Change; Strategic Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation; Organizational Development and Training; Knowledge Management and Strategic Communications; Scaling Up and Engaging Marginalized Populations; Economic Growth; Democracy and Governance, including Decentralization, Anti-Corruption, Rule of Law and Civil Society; Human Development; Environment and Natural Resource Management; and Stabilization and Recovery."[2]

Some of the firm's more widely known projects include the projects in Iraq, Afghanistan, Philippines, Mexico and Morocco.[3]
