Overview

Mandrem Beach is a white sand beach with clear water. The beach of Mandrem lies between the twin beaches of Ashwem and Arambol. A rocky cliff out into the sea is what separates it from Arambol beach. This beach is a quiet and peaceful beach. The beauty of Mandrem Beach is especially during the High Tide time when the sea water rushes into the Mandrem Creek or River. This Mandrem creek moves parallel to the waterline. Mandrem has a small fishing community and occasionally one might see local fishermen hauling their catch from the sea.

This place is a little remote and not yet fully commercialized so there are very few resort and restaurant compare to other famous beaches in Goa. Since this beach is named as one of the best in Asia, now attracts a large number of tourists. Due to this it has seen rapid development of restaurants and shacks along the beach. And also Nightlife or the Clubbing Culture has recently started picking up the pace.
