Club career

Born in Madrid, Hermoso joined Real Madrid's youth setup in 2005, aged ten, after starting it out at EF Concepción. On 28 September 2012, while still a youth, he appeared with the main squad in the year's Trofeo Santiago Bernabéu, coming on as a second-half substitute in a 8–0 routing over Millonarios FC.[1]

In the 2014 summer Hermoso was promoted to the C-team in Tercera División, appearing in 34 matches and scoring two goals. On 16 July 2015, shortly after being assigned to the reserves, he was loaned to Segunda División side Real Valladolid, in a season-long deal.[2]

Hermoso made his professional debut on 22 August, starting in a 0–1 away loss against Córdoba CF.[3]
