Masahara Nakagawa


Masahara Nakagawa (中川 雅治 Nakagawa Masahara) (born 22 February 1947, Tokyo) is a Japanese politician.[1] He graduated from the Law Department of Tokyo University in 1969.

Nakagawa worked in the Finance Ministry (later the Ministry of Finance) for more than thirty years, specializing in regional tax and bank affairs, before successfully running for the House of Councillors in the July 2004 elections as a member of the Liberal Democratic Party.
