Mehat is a village in Phagwara Tehsil in Kapurthala district of Punjab State, India. It is located 35 kilometres (22 mi) from Kapurthala, 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) from Phagwara. The village is administrated by a sarpanch, an elected representative of the village.[2]
