Miss América Latina 2016 is the 32nd edition of the Miss América Latina pageant. Laura Spoya from Peru was crowned in Mexico on September 22nd to October 1, 2016.[1] taking over from Miss Latin America 2015 Yanire Ortiz of Spain. In this event the 50 representatives of beauty and Latino culture in the world compete for the titles of Miss World Latin America 2016.

The pageant will be hosted at the Occidental Grand Xcaret Resort in Riviera Maya. The resort is situated in Mexican tropical rainforest with its own private beach, 11 international restaurants and 10 bars the gala event is set to be rather spectacular.[2]

To participate in the beauty contest, Laura Spoya put a temporary pause in his career in Mexico as an actress and model sports reporter to return to proudly carry the Peruvian band in the Riviera Maya. Spoya made the top 10 together with representatives of El Salvador, Mexico, Guatemala, US America, Costa Rica, Panama, Brazil, Belize and Argentina. Then the top 5 were the delegates from Peru, Guatemala, Belize, Brazil and US Latina.[3]
