Modani Furniture is a furniture manufacturer and retail company headquartered in Miami, FL, with branches in New York City, Los Angeles, Houston, Chicago, Atlanta, Dallas, San Francisco and Toronto (Canada). It is also winner of the Bank of America Small Business of the Year Award 2011. [1]

History

Modani Furniture was founded in 2007, in Wynwood Miami, by Nathan Cohen, Steven Athea and Yonel Fellous. In June 2016, 7 branches were opened in New York City, Los Angeles, Houston, Chicago, Atlanta, Dallas, San Francisco and Toronto.[2] In 2013, the company paid $3.8M for a large warehouse building in Miami situated near W. Dixie Highway. The 111,691-square-foot industrial facility was purchased from Miron Building Products Co.[3]

Description

In 2013, the Miami stored appeared in the TV show Kourtney and Kim Take Miami, when Kim and Kourtney Kardashian browsed the shop.[1][4] Modani Furniture serves clients, which include Lady Gaga, P. Diddy, LeBron James, Trump, MAC Cosmetics, Sephora, Six Flags, Midtown Miami and Carnival Cruises.[5][6]
