Monokrom is the third studio album by Indonesian singer-songwriter Tulus. It was released on August 3rd, 2016, through his own label TulusCompany (Tulus Co.). Monokrom was made available for free through digital download on iTunes and was released to online music stores and digital music stores on physical format, along with various music streaming services in Indonesia.[1]
In cultivation of his album, Tulus had collaboration with The City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra in Czech Republic for explore musical accompaniment. Most of its songs were written by himself, except for "Mahakarya" and "Cahaya" which were written by himself and composer Ari Renaldi. To promote the album, he cooperated with Indonesian beauty cosmetics products Wardah.[2] The themes of the album are love story and everyday experiences that can be felt by anyone.
