Musikimia is an Indonesian band that was formed on August 17, 2012, coincide with Indonesian Independence Day in Jakarta. The group consists of Andi Fadly Arifuddin, Rindra Risyanto Noor, Surendro Prasetyo and Stephan Santoso, an musician and producer which often winning of Anugerah Musik Indonesia awards. Previously, the name of group only provides for information about music that few people know from Twitter.
Career
2012-2013: Indonesia Adalah
After officially formed in 2012, Sony Music Entertainment Indonesia signed to the group and launched the debut single “Kolam Susu”. One year later the band released the second single “Apakah Harus Seperti Ini” and still in the same year, they released their mini album Indonesia Adalah.
2016-present: Intersisi
Three years later, Musikimia returned to release their debut studio album Intersisi on January 6, 2016. [1] A few later, the group also released the first single "Dan Bernyanyilah". In interview, the group revealed that the album is to remind public that music is an art. The group were invited to perform at Anugerah Planet Muzik in the Theatre Mediacorp, 1 Star Avenue, Singapore [2] and also awarded for Best Song (Indonesia) and Best Band.
