Native Foods Cafe is a fast-casual vegan restaurant chain that operates in California, Oregon, Colorado, and Chicago. The first Native Foods Cafe opened in 1994 in Palm Springs, California.

The company was founded by chef Tanya Petrofina and Co Founder Ray White, who sold a majority stake in the business to husband and wife Andrea McGinty and Daniel Dolan in 2009.[1] McGinty and Dolan raised $10 million in capital in 2012 and another $15 million in 2014.[2] The company moved its headquarters to Chicago in 2011, and expects to have 200 locations open by the second half of 2017.[1]
