His debut album, "Lost In Space" was released on February 3, 2015, and received positive reviews from critics.[3][4][5]

Career

2013-present: Mixtapes and album

Nay Nay developed a following by performing frequently at venues in the city of Virginia Beach,[7] along with opening for acts such as 50 Cent, Trey Songz, Diplo,[8] Pusha T,[9] and Travis Scott.[10] He became known for collaborating with former Funk Volume artists Hopsin, SwizZz, DJ Hoppa, and Kato.[11]

Nay Nay is also one-half of the rapper-singer duo Nay Nay & Bryan Mahon, which was formed during the summer of 2014. The two have developed a unique style that bridges the gap between genres.[12] They were noticed by local radio station host Shaggy in January 2015, and were placed on the list of acts to perform at the annual music festival Shaggfest in both 2015[13] and 2016.[14] After releasing their single "Living in the Image",[15] the duo released their debut EP titled "Undefined" on August 5, 2016.[16]

Personal life

After graduating from Floyd E. Kellam High School, Swihart attended Old Dominion University.[17]
