Nicholas Devine

Nicholas Devine (born 1739? - May 29, 1830), Co. Cavan, Ireland (also spelt Divine) was superintendent of convicts for New South Wales from 1790 to 1808.

He took up land grants at what was to become Erskineville; the disposal of this estate after his death led to Doe dem Devine v. Wilson and Others, popularly known as the "Newtown Ejectment Case".
