North Arkansas College

North Arkansas College is a comprehensive, public two-year college located in Harrison, Arkansas, in the United States. North Arkansas College provides a variety of educational opportunities to the citizens of Boone, Carroll, Marion, Searcy, Newton, and Madison counties in northern Arkansas. Northark has three campuses in Harrison and one in Berryville, Arkansas. The College has been selected as one of the most affordable community colleges in the nation with fall 2016 tuition rates of $68 per credit hour for Boone County, AR residents, $92 per credit hour for Arkansas residents, $166 per credit hour for Barry, Ozark, Stone and Taney County, Missouri residents and $163 per credit hour for out-of-state residents.

Northark is known for highly respected Allied Health programs and various technical programs that get students into careers quickly. The College is located near the Buffalo National River and Branson, MO in the beautiful Ozark Mountains.

Students

Students enrolled in degree and certificate program average 27 years of age. Northark has an enrollment of 40% male and 60% female. Seventy-five percent of Northark students receive some form of financial aid. Fall 2016 headcount enrollment was 1,889.

Faculty and Staff

Northark employs 201 full-time faculty and staff and approximately 205 part-time faculty and staff.

Accreditation

North Arkansas College is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission (HLC) and is a member of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCA).
