305/17 modello 16 howitzer on the retreat after the Battle of Caporetto
Obice da 305/17 modello 16 was an Italian howitzer (sometimes classified as mortar) used during World War I. Produced by Armstrong works in Italy between 1914 and 1917, about 30 pieces (possibly even 44) were built.
