Oliver "Ollie" Locke (born 20 March 1987)[1] is a British reality television personality best known for starring as an original cast member in BAFTA award winning E4 constructed reality series Made in Chelsea. His mother is noted former BBC Radio Solent DJ Sarah Locke.[2]

Locke grew up in Southampton, where he attended Embley Park School, a boarding school in Romsey, Hampshire where he shared a dorm with Game Of Thrones actor Alfie Allen. Ollie then moved to Sibford School for 6th Form before leaving to do a year foundation course in Cambridge at The Cambridge School Of Visual and Performing Arts, with a course affiliated with RADA. Ollie then moved to Cirencester where he joined a property degree course at the Royal Agricultural College, before leaving after a year and moving to London in 2006 where he worked for an independent magazine in Chelsea.[3]

Ollie then spent the next 5 years running nightclubs on the Kings Road and in Mayfair. Notably running the doors of such Royal haunts at Mahiki, Whiskey Mist, Maggies, 151, Amika and launching JUJU on the Kings Road, earning himself 'Best Host' at the 2009 London Bar and Club Awards.

Career

Whilst on Made in Chelsea, Locke came out as bisexual He also dated Gabriella Ellis, Chloe Green and Ashley James.[4] At about the same time, Locke wrote a book called Laid in Chelsea, which spent 8 weeks at number 3 of the Sunday Times Best Seller list. ". Locke is a seasoned contributor on British television, known for his comedy, charm and honesty. To name a few Locke has been seen on such shows as 'Celebrity Juice' Alan Carr's Chatty Man, The Jonathan Ross Show, Britains Got More Talent, The Xtra Factor, Do The Dishes, the twelfth series of 8 Out of 10 Cats[5] and the second series of Fake Reaction.[6] In January 2014, he participated in Celebrity Big Brother 13. He entered on Day 1 handcuffed to Lionel Blair.[7] Locke was evicted from the show on Day 27 finishing in third place behind Jim Davidson and Dappy.[8] In June 2014, Locke appeared on Celebrity Fifteen to One.[9]

Locke presented a one off Valentines special episode of 'Love Fix' for ITV2 where he interviewed the public about sex, love and romance. Notably Locke hosted an online show with Radio 1 DJ Gemma Cairney called 'The Fox Problem' where they interviewed the likes of Mel C, Paloma Faith and Richard Branson bringing in an audience of 1 million on the first series. He has also presented segments on 'This Morning' and stages at The Clothes Show Live.

Locke left Made in Chelsea for 4 seasons, in 2013 then made his return in 2015 for the end of its LA series, and is now a regular cast member again.

Ollie is taking part in Channel 4's Stand Up To Cancer show, The Island With Bear Grylls alongside comedian Dom Joly, Scottish rugby player Thom Evans and JLS singer Aston Merrygold. To be shown October 2016.
