PACE Theatre Company
PACE Theatre Company is a registered charity and non-profit making theatre company based in Paisley, Scotland. Formed in 1988 by David Wallace,[1] PACE has four main components: a professional theatre production and Theatre-in-education (TIE) company; PACE Youth Theatre, with over 2,000 members; PACE Casting, a casting agency which represents Youth Theatre members; and PACE Media Productions, a media production company specialising in educational and dramatic video productions.
Pantomime
PACE Theatre Company has produced the pantomime at Paisley Arts Centre since 1988.[2] The panto is written and directed by Wallace, who also costars in it with Alan Orr.

PACE Youth Theatre
PACE Youth Theatre is one part of PACE Theatre Company, and has been running since 1988. It was founded by David Wallace. It is currently based in Spires Drama Studios, Paisley. It was previously known as Paisley Youth Theatre when based in Paisley Arts Centre. Currently PACE has just under 2000 members.
Past members
Ex-members of PACE Youth Theatre have included actor James McAvoy (Shameless, Last King of Scotland), singer Paolo Nutini, actor Gordon McCorkell (River City), Fame Academy winner David Sneddon, Richard Madden (Game of Thrones), actor Martin Quinn, TV presenter Kate Heavenor, and others.
Fest!
Fest! is PACE’s school holiday performing arts festivals for young people. There are over 3,000 fest participants each year, performing in over 60 different performances.
Choices for life
Every year Pace does a drug education event called Choices for Life in the SECC (Glasgow), Aberdeen Exhibition Centre and the Edinburgh Highland Centre. As of 2011 it was changed to "Choices for Life Online". It is targeted at P7 - S6 pupils.
