Peder Sager Wallenberg

Peder Wallenberg, previously Sager, born 1935, is a businessman, architect, and co-founder of the foundation Carpe Vitam.[1] He is the only son of Jacob Wallenberg. He was adopted by his biological father at a late age, sparking a controversy regarding the legitimacy of his claim to his fathers fortunes,[2] following his passing. Peder Wallenberg has furthered his wealth exponentially through a series of business ventures including hotel resort ownership and management,[3] creation of luxury living centers,[4] stock market investments,[5] and banking.[6]

Peder has had eight children with three wives. The oldest son was born in 1967, and the youngest in 1997. Their names in descending order of age are: Fredrik Wallenberg, Marie Wallenberg, Peder Wallenberg, Nicholas Wallenberg, Anna Wallenberg, Peder Wallenberg Jr, Christopher Wallenberg, and Alexander Wallenberg.

Peder has been media-shy and has kept a low profile until recently, with a series of interviews and articles in Swedish news outlets such as Dagens Industri.[2]
