Peter A. Dowd
Peter Alan Dowd, FREng (born in Australia) is an Australian Academic. He is currently a Professor of Mining Engineering and Executive Director, Mining Education Australia. He is an elected Fellow of Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering in 2006, Royal Academy of Engineering in 1998, Royal Society for the Arts in 1994. He was selected to deliver the Georges Matheron Lecture in 2013[1] by the International Association for Mathematical Geosciences.
